Recruitment and Trial Period

If we have responded to post of yours with our guild information, we most likely are interested in seeing you apply to our guild. Our recruitment and trial period lasts 3-4 weeks. Shorter or longer based on your performance. With the current changes to Siege of Org, the first full raid week of your trial period can be completed from your home server. You are still eligible for loot during this first week. The expectation after the first week is that you transfer to our server to complete your trial period should we mutually find you a fit for the guild.

If you do not transfer after the first week, the trial period will be forfeit and you will no longer be considered an applicant for the guild. To give yourself time to setup your UI or deal with any issues that may arise with a server move, we suggest all applicants transfering to our server give themselves a 48 hour window prior to the next raid week. Until you are on our server and guilded as a Trial, your class will remain open as a recruited class for additional applicants.

As a trial raider, you are still eligble for many of the perks which are provided to our full time raiders including free flasks, feasts, guild repairs, and so forth.

Attendance

Raider attendance is expected to be 75% or better. All raiders are expected to post out in the AFK Forum if they cannot make a raid or will be late (IN ADVANCE). Telling someone is not a reliable method however, its fine to let an officer know if you may be unable to attend a raid on a certain date. You may put up something post-raid if you were not able to post something before hand. A player is considered late if they join the raid after start time.

We understand real life things may keep a raider out for longer periods of time. Some examples of acceptable “excused leaves” may include: a medical situation, family issues, work/school, and so forth. Let the officers know, if possible, ahead of time, and we’ll make exceptions. Prolonged absences and lateness regardless of reasons, may warrant a review of reliability and recruitment of said class.

Raids

Raiders are required to be online by 8:00pm EST (Game time). Invites go out at 7:30pm EST with early EPGP tic at 7:50pm EST. Usually trash is cleared and we start on the boss at 8pm. Being prompt and on time ensures an efficient start to the night. If you are sitting for a boss fight, you may be on an alt so long as your main character is in the raid (Its ok for the toon to be offline so long as they are in the raid offline). Raids last until 11pm EST and never go over this time frame no matter where we are in the zone.

We expect certain and obvious pre-raid requirements from our raiders: knowledge of their class inside and out (talents, gemming, enchanting, etc), an understanding of the boss fight mechanics (We have an entire forum on each current tier boss with strats and videos for this very purpose), the ability to take constructive criticism regarding performance, consistency with attendance, and while there is no language filter in place: a mature and respectful attitude towards your fellow guildmates.

Breaks During Our Raids

To ensure a productive night with our 3 day schedule, we take a 10 minute break at 9:30pm EST. We ask raiders to withhold breaks before/after that time to ensure the night continues on smoothly and no ones time is wasted. Raiders should use that time period to go use the restroom, get drinks/snacks, bake a quick cake, etc.

Although we aim for the break in the middle of the raid, the exact break time may vary based on the discretion of the Raid Lead. Sometimes a break may be called earlier or later depending on factors within the raid itself. We will sub people out if they are taking an extended break during the allotted 10 min break time so as not to hold up the other 24 raiders in the raid.

Loot Distribution and Addons

We use the EPGP system to distribute loot. We find this to be the most fair way to gear up our team. Trials and even offserver trials are eligible for gear drops. For a detailed explanation of how our EPGP system works, see this thread on it here: http://aud.guildlaunch.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9453844&gid=133548

Any item you would use for an offspec you would roll on 1-100 and the item is yours at no cost provided its strictly for an offspec. Any item you would want to use for main spec: You simply link the item you are replacing in RAID CHAT and its awarded to the highest person with EPGP whos interested in the item. There is no bidding or whispering for items. If the item is a side grade, mention as such when linking.

Although NOT required, we use the EPGP (DKP Reloaded) addon to monitor and maintain EPGP standings. You can download the addon if you wish to see what the standings are however, this is not a required addon.

The only addon we request raiders have is DBM for boss warnings and incomings. Whatever other addons you use are up to you however, we advise all raiders to keep them up to date. Up to date addons offer clean and better raid performance from all raiders.

Raider Alts

We are more then happy to guild your alt with our guild. We rarely if ever bring alt toons in for a main raid. Should the extremely rare occasion arise that you may have an alt of which a certain talent or ability is needed, we may request you bring that toon into the main raid to assist on a specific boss mechanic. We will never bring in a large number of alts to assist on a main raid.

We encourage people to take advantage of the social atmosphere our guild provides and run alt runs on non raid nights to upgrade and aquire gear for your other characters.

Guild Bank

The guild bank provides raiders with all their needs free of charge:

-Repairs
-Flasks
-Item enchants
-Feasts for raids
-Certain mats/food for crafting

Raiders will have access to flasks for raids. Any request for item enchants should be made to one of the officers so they can provide you with what you need. Keep in mind these are for your raiding character and not alts.

Donations of needed mats are always welcome! Herbs, flasks, food items, etc. If your curious what we need most of and run out of quickly, as the guild bank officer, Avocado, for more details and she will steer you in the right direction. The bank is there to help the guild and its raiders. Feel free to take and use whatever shows up in the first tab!

Guild Policies

1) Fun. The guild is here first and foremost to have a good time while progressing through Blizzard’s current content. We arent here to be server first or work a second job. A number of our raiders and officers hail from a long, long, history of online gaming and Top 100 type guilds and are here for a quieter/less Hitler-like change of pace.

2) Anticlockwise is for you. We are in this guild because we enjoy our teammates and the atmosphere that’s created here. If you don’t want to be, don’t bring the rest of the team down and move on! People log into the game on their $15 and want to have fun.

3) Professional and Knowledgable. While the guild can be crass, that’s just in our nature of having fun! We treat each other with the utmost respect and professionalism. We anticipate raiders come to the raid with full knowledge of the encounter and willingness to do the best of their ability to kill the boss at hand.

4) Whining and Dramallama. We don’t tolerate it. We’ve all been in those types of guilds before or LFRs where some of the extreme childishness exposes itself. If you seek attention from people and feel the only way to accomplish this is by being in the spotlight or creating a tv reality show out of the guild, then please refrain from joining ours and go get professional help.

5) Team player. We’re all on the same team with the ultimate main goal: progressing through current heroic tier. There is no *I* in team and the greater good of the guild and not the individual, is what the main focus here will be. You put time and effort into making the guild and raids a great place, and everyone will benefit from your determination!
